Hi Laura , Thank you. I use clay, alum+tamarind kernal paste(TKP), copper sulphate + TKP any of these for resist.

For household items you would probably want to set up a partnership with a physical retailer in one of the larger cities. There are a lot of places selling organic and natural dyed items in California, however, I live in Iowa and do not have access to inforamtion as to who does or does not sell natural dyed items there. Maybe someone here knows more about this.
