In October '09 I will be in France - don't know what to find there in the wild, but I have seen many on the market. Can you dye with every mushroom, although they are not for conusmption and toxic?

All about natural dyeing!

The reason of joining this network is because I like to experiment with dyeing fabrics. Special with unexpected material and unexpected methods. I haven't done that much yet, but during my study in textile arts and recently with my felt work I have done some research. The combination with felt is fabulous. Hope I will find a regular base to work out all my idea's and share them with you.

Do you remember the red scarf of the previous post? Well, I have re-dyed it with tea and the previous wrapped lines which seems to be disappeared suddenly popped up! (read more in the comments at the page of the groups of rusty-iron)

momenteel ben ik niet in frankrijk, ben even thuis. Van de week ga ik weer richting frankrijk. kan ik weer verder met mijn experimenten wat plantaardig verven betreft. Dankzij jou en Yvettes tips, ik rommel gewoon maar wat aan.. We ontmoeten elkaar zeker een keer, misschien wel in Bloemendaal 7 november. Jij maakt trouwens prachtige doeken en werk, leuk al die experimenten.
